What Are Nano-Polished Vitrified Tiles?
Nano-polished vitrified tiles are a type of vitrified tiles in which there is nano-coating over the surface of the tiles. The nano chemicals over the surface make the tiles stain-free, and excellent water, and dust-repellent.
The tiles have a water absorption of less than < 0.05% and are formed using a vitrification process.
Nano-soluble salt tiles are not recommended for heavy traffic areas as the coating layer will be removed on passing through time. It is recommended only for residential and low to medium-commercial areas.
How To Check Nano-Coating In Tiles?
After the tiles are polished, the quality of Nano Polished Tiles is checked step by step.
1. GLossness
After the tiles are polished, the surface gloss of the tiles is checked with a gloss meter.
2. Marker Test
The nano chemicals for vitrified tiles are checked in various ways. It can be matched with a permanent marker. If you mark or draw over the nano-vitrified tiles with features and remove the stains with water, the tiles are genuine nano-polished tiles.
As shown in the first image, a blue or black marker is used for making marks over the surface of tiles and left for some time.
After that, it is cleaned with clothes, and if there are no marker marks or stains left, this tile is passed for quality control.
